This is post #26 in a series with playlists from my audio reel tapes that were recorded from FM radio broadcasts during the 60’s and 70’s that I liked. I decided to create Spotify playlists so I could listen to the music again, and share with others. And it’s a lot cheaper than converting all the tapes to DVD and better quality. Listen to Americana music by Josh Ritter with this video of a recent acoustic performance for his latest album Gathering. He starts his tour with The Royal City Band this Sunday in Dallas, and will be here at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on January 12, 2018.
Just a few days before his new album Gathering was released, Josh Ritter performed for The Current (89.3) and 75 lucky fans, packed into the basement of The Turf Club (aka The Clown Lounge), Saint Paul, Minnesota. He performed songs with bassist Zachariah Hickman from ‘Gathering’ and a few standout tracks from his catalog, in an uplifting and spirited performance.
