Greatest Hits

These are the 25 most popular music posts viewed on my blog as of July 4, 2015.

The results show that “Country” is still the most popular genre with 11 artists in the top 25. Next was “Piano” having 4, followed by 3 for “Guitar” and “SXSW“. Then “Pop” had 2, and finally there was 1 for “Celtic” and “Rock“.

Enjoy listening to your favorites, find out what others like the most, or just explore new music.

    • It’s the South by Southwest Music Festival held in Austin, Texas every March for about five days (for the past 30 years). Actually it’s preceded by Interactive and Film Festivals for over a week prior to Music.

There are thousands of people from all over the world with over 2000 bands from almost every country on over 200 stages all over town during this time. There are showcases for featured artists in the evenings for those with music badges, plus lots of free day parties which are available for most anybody. Tons of music everywhere. It’s a unique experience. It’s definitely not just country music at all, although that’s included as well.

Listen to the Austin 100 prepared by National Public Radio (NPR) Music via my blog post. There’s a Official Complete SXSW Playlist with 1,492 songs and 94 hours of music. Also, check out the SXSW web site for more information. I will probably also be posting music from showcasing artists throughout this week.

It will be held again next year from March 10-19. Enjoy the music.
