If you want to listen to NPR Music’s artists to watch at SXSW 2018, select this playlist on Spotify.

The Austin 100 (Playlist) by NPR Music – 97 songs, 6 hr 4 min

 

Initially you might want to listen to the playlist sequentially, and save songs you like in a personal custom playlist. Or you can choose to use Shuffle Play if you want a random play sequence, or you can choose to play your own selections. It’s easy to skip those songs you don’t like, as well as pause and resume any time you like.

Especially in shuffle mode, you might want to view the Play Queue to see the Current Song and upcoming Next Songs. While listening it’s easy to click the plus for specific songs to Save to Your Music, or select Add to Playlist, and then you can just play your favorites whenever you want. On Spotify you can also choose to Download the entire playlist or specific songs if you want to listen on a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet.

Also there is a download available with all 100 MP3 songs as a single zip file (over 6 hours of music), which will only be available this month until March 31, 2018. If you like, you can choose to import any or all of these MP3 files into iTunes and then make a custom personal playlist.
