Here’s some celtic music by John Doan for you to listen with Spotify.
John Doan is one of the best-known harp guitarists in the world. In addition, he is a performer, Emmy-nominated composer, historian, instrument collector, and university professor. He is a master of the Renaissance lute, as well as classical and contemporary guitar styles.
His signature instrument, however, is the 20-string harp guitar, originally popular at the end of the 19th century in Europe and America. This expressive instrument that he plays has six standard fretted guitar strings, six unfretted bass strings, and eight unfretted high strings with pure tones and long sustains.

Here’s some celtic music by Greg Joy for you to listen with Spotify.
For Canadian guitar player/producer Greg Joy, his love for the folk music of the British Isles led him to the Victoria Music Conservatory in the late ’70s to study classical guitar. He has performed with a myriad of both Celtic and worldbeat groups, and has released numerous collections of Celtic and Christmas music of his own.
Performing in various groups focusing on the Celtic jigs & reels and traditional folk songs, he developed his unique acoustic guitar style which utilizes open tunings and is based on a synthesis of folk, classical and light rock influences. Greg Joy has performed extensively with guitar, flute, mandolin and hammer dulcimer, always maintaining a thread of ‘folk_baroque’ influence in his work.
