Listen to bluegrass music by Old Crow Medicine Show.
This is an amazing Old Crow remaking of Bob Dylan’s classic 1966 double album recorded live 50 years later over 2 nights in May 2016 at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.
Enjoy this recent collection album with their best songs.
And these are their earlier albums.

Here’s some country music from Dixie Chicks that you can listen to on Spotify.
I remember seeing the Dixie Chicks when they were just starting in Dallas, and they were fantastic live even back then. They were the entertainment for our annual IBM picnic, which I think was held at the Austin Ranch, one of the oldest dude ranches in Texas, just north of the DFW Airport in Grapevine.
Dixie Chicks have won 13 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for “Taking the Long Way” and “Not Ready to Make Nice” as a single from that album. They became the top selling all-female band and biggest selling country group in the U.S. after selling over 30 million albums by 2013.
Their last three albums represent various collections on songs from the Dixie Chicks, but I have included them as well since some readers might like to listen to them, even though there’s some duplication with the original albums.
Since 2010 at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire have released several albums as the duo “Court Yard Hounds” without lead vocalist Natalie Maines, although they have continued to tour as the Dixie Chicks with the Eagles and Keith Urban.
Here are some of their most popular songs.
“Not Ready To Make Nice” by Dixie Chicks on “The Essential Dixie Chicks” (2010)
“Cowboy Take Me Away” by Dixie Chicks on “Fly” (1999)
“Travelin’ Soldier” by Dixie Chicks on “Home” (2002)
Here’s some county bluegrass music from Alison Krauss.
If you thought you didn’t like bluegrass music, just give this a try. I think you will be surprised, if you are not familiar with Alison Krause and her band Union Station. And if you know them, just listen and enjoy.
