The award winning and revolutionary SXSWfm Americana music show “Bearded Sunshine“ is hosted by resident musical scholar and SXSW staffer Matt Small. Join Matt weekly as he dives into the aforementioned Americana music, current events, humor and other listener favorite topics. This is the opposite of every show you’ve ever liked.

SXSWfm is the official internet radio stream of the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival. Last year its 30th anniversary was celebrated in Austin, Texas with over 2,200 official performers from more than 67 countries and happened again recently from March 13-19, 2017. Josh Ritter: Acoustic MicroShow Video

Just a few days before his new album Gathering was released, Josh Ritter performed for The Current (89.3) and 75 lucky fans, packed into the basement of The Turf Club (aka The Clown Lounge), Saint Paul, Minnesota. He performed songs with bassist Zachariah Hickman from ‘Gathering’ and a few standout tracks from his catalog, in an uplifting and spirited performance.
