If you have enjoyed the solo piano artists whose music I have highlighted in many of my music posts over the past four months, here is a unique opportunity to listen to them LIVE.
This Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 6:00 pm EST, Whisperings Solo Piano Radio has their biggest piano concert of the year… The Whisperings “All-Star” Concert and Awards Show. And for the first time ever, this will be a live video broadcast of the show over the Internet!
This will be 3-hour solo piano concert with performances by 15 artists, including all the nominees for Whisperings Album of the Year. It’s a great way to discover new artists you are sure to enjoy!
Don’t miss it, since the video of the show will not be posted online after the concert (as it was last year). So… this is your ONLY chance to see the show live, as it happens!
How to watch the live video stream? The event is being broadcast through Concert Window, the premier streaming company for live concert feeds. The process to tune-in and watch couldn’t be easier. If you have any trouble at all (which isn’t likely), a technician from Concert Window is available via the chat window to help you in real time. The Concert Window experience is really fantastic. It’s so simple to use. You’ll be able to chat with other viewers as the concert is happening real time… It’s one big online party celebrating the best of Whisperings Solo Piano Radio! If you have Apple TV, you can use AirPlay to mirror the broadcast from a Mac, iPhone, or iPad so you can watch it live on an HDTV in your living room along with a high-quality audio system.
What’s it cost to watch? This year, they are trying a “Pay What You Want” model to see how it goes. You can pay whatever you feel it’s worth to you for a “ticket” to watch the live video ($1 minimum). At any time during the concert, you can “tip” to contribute more to the performing artists if you want to. All contributions will be split by the pianists who are performing. Of course, we would appreciate your contributions! It’s quite an effort to put on the show, so all tips and donations are appreciated!
