To verify that everything is setup properly, I recommend trying it out with a test note.
- Create a New Draft from the Menu Bar (or Dock), or using hotkey
⇧ ⌘ 1.
# Test Note
This is a test note created in Drafts using the *Add to Obsidian* action.
It creates an Obsidian note using a file name derived from a clean version of the note title (first line), without any heading tag (#).
Also, Obsidian properties are inserted as YAML frontmatter automatically:
- up: ""
- created: {date|yyyy-mm-dd}
- tags: note/draft
Compare this Obsidian draft note with the original draft text that you entered, captured, or dictated.
- Run the Add to Obsidian action
- Review Test Note in the Obsidian + folder.
